My work so far:

Over the course of a decade, I have worked across multiple EdTech and impacted several businesses in their quest to make access to opportunities for talents more distributed across markets and communities.

AltSchool Africa & TalentQL Inc.

In almost 4 years of being with the TalentQL Group, I have worn multiple hats as a strategic leader ranging from Programs to operations, learning and strategic innovation.

I designed the original AltSchool Africa learning experience structure which is known and loved today to cater to over 100k+ learners across over 100 countries. Extended our product lines from Tech programs to include the School of Business and Creative Economy.

 

Drove a mission to align our intake cycles in 2023 which led to a 55% increase in application rate. Expanded our business operations into East Africa(Rwanda & Kenya) and designed the Pipeline by TalentQL program, the first mid-senior engineering bootcamp program in Africa. Collectively generating over $2M in revenue.

Decagon Institute

Designed and managed the 'Hire Week' project to match vetted developers to hiring managers over a virtual placement program and matching products, leading to a 67% placement rate for engineers within 5 days.

 

Led the key stakeholder partnership process of recruiting, and vetting SMEs seeking to hire engineers through the UK-Nig Tech Hub Developer Placement Program leading to a successful placement process with a 100% placement and 80% retention rate post-program.

Designed and implemented the 'Workplace Preparation Program' that increased the placement rate of graduates who took  by 25%

Andela Learning Community

Led the ALC 2.0 & 3.0 project as Regional Program Assistant of North East Nigeria and trained over 5,000 learners. Directed #DevCTrainingwithAndela, training 2,500 learners and supported the Grow with Google scholarship program, successfully training 65,000 learners across Sub-Saharan Africa. securing a contract renewal from Google to train 1 million talents by 2025.


Enhanced team satisfaction and employee fulfilment scores for two consecutive years.

I serve as an External Advisor, Storytelling for Dreams Alive Nigeria where I supported the NGO in telling their story the best way possible from offering free medical care in underrepresented communities to empowering women and young adult small businesses leading to a 47% increase in post engagements and improved brand acceptance.
